Remarks: This is one of many 1/32 decal sheets from SuperScale for the F/A-18A Hornet. But the problem is, there is no 1/32 F/A-18A Hornet kit available, you either have to backdate the excellent Academy F/A-18C to a A version, or you have to update the older Hasegawa kit to a real A, since that the Hasegawa kit (and the Revell kit too) are prototypes. In Detail and Scale 6 F-18 Hornet Part 1, is explained how to convert the Prototype kits to a production version.
The first option of the decal sheet itself is nice, 1 CAG bird and two low vis, a lot of options for a 1/32 sheet but, there are only national insignia's for 1 aircraft, and there are no stencils available. If you use a Acadamy kit this wouldn't be a problem, but when using the Hasagawa kit, you'll need to purchase stenciling. Then the decal options itself. As far as I know only one option is correct, and that's the VFA-106 bird. for the other two the tailcodes are incorrect. the AC code is for Carrier Airwing 3, but both aircraft are from Carrier Airwing 8. So the tailcode must be AJ. with a litte care you can change the C into a J, but this is not what you expect from a aftermarket sheet.
Overall, use this sheet only if you really want to build one of these 3 aircraft but, to build it correct, you have to change some things.
