Remarks: This is one of many 1/32 decal sheets from SuperScale for the F/A-18A Hornet. But the problem is, there is no 1/32 F/A-18A Hornet kit available, you either have to backdate the excellent Academy F/A-18C to a A version, or you have to update the older Hasegawa kit to a real A, since that the Hasegawa kit (and the Revell kit too) are prototypes. In Detail and Scale 6 F-18 Hornet Part 1, is explained how to convert the Prototype kits to a production version.
The decal sheet itself is nice, it has 3 options for low vis birds, of which two are from Carrier Air Wing 13, a short lived airwing during the mid and late 80's. The third option is for a US Navy Strike test centre Hornet. for as far as I know this sheet seems to be completly correct, but, like other hornet sheets from this era, it has no stenciling, which can be a problem if you use the Hasegawa kit, which has only full color prototype decals.
