Decal option 1: F/A-18C, BuNo 163704. 11, VX-4, US Navy, Point Mugu.

Decal option 2: F/A-18A, BuNo 162841, 400, VFA-137, US Navy, USS Coral Sea 1989.

Remarks: This is one of many 1/32 decal sheets from superscale with a option for the F/A-18A Hornet. But the problem is, there is no 1/32 F/A-18A Hornet kit available, you either have to backdate the excellent Academy F/A-18C to a A version, or you have to update the older Hasegawa kit to a real A, since that the Hasegawa kit (and the Revell kit too) are prototypes. In Detail and Scale 6 F-18 Hornet Part 1, is explained how to convert the Prototype kits to a production version.
The decal options on this sheet are for a VX-4 F/A-18C, for which you can use the Academy kit. the other option is for a CAG bird of VFA-137 Kestrels, on the USS Coral Sea during 1989. the aircraft has different markings on both sides of the tail. There are also no insignia's on this sheet, and they aren't indicated on the instruction sheet as well, Which isn't correct, both birds had full stenciling including 4 insignia's.
It's a nice sheet, but check your references before you use the sheet.
