This F/A-18C release from academy is just a perfect release! The kit contains 18 bigger and smaller sprues from which is 1 clear. It also contains rubber tires, metal inserts for the undercarriage legs and 2 decal sheets, one with full stenciling for the weapons, and another with decal options for 3 aircraft, 2 of VFA-192, Golden Dragons, 1 linejet in low-vis scheme, and another more colorful to celebrate the year of the dragon. The third option is a CAG Bird of VFA-146 Blue Diamonds. The decal sheet also contains full stenciling.
The kit itself is of a very high standard. It has finely engraved panel lines, full engine, and intake. Highly details cockpit, and there are enough fuel tanks or weapons to fully load your kit as you like. Also included is a highly detailed pilot figure as well as two crew members.
Straight from the box this will build into a great looking Hornet! And with addition of some aftermarket products it can be even better!
This kit is highly recommended to everybody who likes modern jets in a big scale!
